Essential Question: How does art impact our place in the world?

Content Standards:

ART.VA.II.8.3    Effectively collaborate, communicate, and work with others to create new ideas.

ART.VA.III.8.4    Effectively use critical thinking strategies to observe, compare, and contrast artworks.

ART.VA.III.8.5    Develop and defend informed aesthetic opinions about works of art using effective artistic vocabulary.

Objective:  Students will review for the final exam, take the final exam and complete any missing work.

Agenda:

Monday:   Students will review for their final exam.

Tuesday:  Students will take their final exam.

Wednesday:  Students will complete all work.

Thursday:  Students will complete all work.

Friday:  No school!  End of MP4!

ART.VA.II.7.3    Collaborate, communicate, and work with others to create new ideas at an emerging level.

ART.VA.III.7.1    Critically observe, describe, and analyze visual characteristics at an emerging level.

Objective:  Students will review for the final exam, take the final exam and finish any missing work.

Agenda:

Monday:   Students will review for their final exam.

Tuesday:  Students will take their final exam.

Wednesday:  Students will complete all work.

Thursday:  Students will complete all work.

Monday:  Students will be introduced to quilling.  Students will view a powerpoint about quilling and see former students’ work.  Students will draw their design for the quilling project.

Tuesday:  Students will work on their quilling projects.

Wednesday:  Students will work on their quilling projects.

Thursday:  Students will work on their quilling projects.

Friday:  No school!  End of MP4!
