Objective: Students will create a Self-Portrait in Illustrator.
Agenda:
Monday: Students will work in Illustrator to create their self-portrait.
Tuesday: Students will work in Illustrator to create their self-portrait.
Wednesday: Students will work in Illustrator to create their self-portrait.
Thursday: Students will work in Illustrator to create their self-portrait.
Friday: Students will finish creating their self-portraits in Illustrator.

Objective: Students will create a paper mache animal.
Agenda:
Monday: Students will continue paper macheing their balloons.
Tuesday: Students will continue paper macheing their balloons.
Wednesday: Students will continue paper macheing their balloons.
Thursday: Students will continue paper macheing their balloons.
Friday: Students will finish paper macheing their animals.

ART.VA.III.6.1 Observe, describe, and analyze visual characteristics at a developing level.
ART.VA.IV.6.2 Develop an understanding of the historical, social, and cultural contexts of artwork with aesthetic sophistication.
ART.VA.I.6.5 Produce and exhibit a final product that demonstrates quality craftsmanship and technique at a developing level.
Objective: Students will learn about M.C. Escher and tessellations.
Agenda:
Monday: Students will watch a Powerpoint presentation about M.C. Escher. Students will then individually use the artifacts handout to find out information on the Internet about M.C. Escher. Students will then come back together as a whole group as we discuss M.C. Escher, and their findings on the artifacts sheet.
Tuesday: Students will be introduced to the project and watch a demonstration. Students will begin creating their own tessellation.
Wednesday: Students will continue to work on their tessellation projects, adding details to their paintings.
Thursday: Students will finish working on their tessellation projects. They will also read an article about M.C. Escher and answer some questions about it.
Friday: Students will take the M.C. Escher quiz. Then they will need to finish up their project, as well as grade themselves.
