Objective:  Students will create a paper mache cartoon character.

Agenda:

Monday:  Finish building cartoon characters, begin paper macheing

Tuesday: Paper mache characters

Wednesday:  Paper mache characters

Thursday:  Paper mache characters, start painting when finished paper macheing

Friday:  No School!

Thursday:  Work on drawing cartoons

Friday:  No School!

Monday:  “Follow along” step-by-step how to draw the Mona Lisa

Tuesday:  “Follow along” step-by-step how to fill in with colors and add details

Wednesday:  Finish working on Mona Lisa projects, complete I CAN grade sheets when finished, save work to flash drives

Thursday: Work on painting Manga pictures

Friday:   No School!

Monday:  Work on game covers

Tuesday:  Finish working on game covers, save and complete I CAN grade sheet

Wednesday: Students will research the Illustration career.  Students will begin drawing their designs for their movie posters.

Thursday:  Students will finish drawing their designs and will begin creating their designs on the computer in Illustrator.

Friday: No School!

Objective:  Students will learn about the Day of the Dead and will create a Sugar Skull drawing with a papel picado background.

Agenda:

Monday:  Finish drawing and coloring skulls.

Tuesday: Cut paper in specific way to create papel picado.  Cut out skulls, glue them onto the papel picado.  Complete I CAN grade sheets.

Wednesday:  2nd hour will begin paper mache projects.  3rd and 5th hours, will begin One-Point Perspective drawing.

Thursday:  2nd hour will work on paper mache projects, 3rd and 5th hours will work on one-point perspective drawings.

Friday:  2nd hour will work on paper mache projects, 3rd and 5th hours will work on one-point perspective drawings.

Monday:  Work on coloring candy compositions with oil pastels

Tuesday: Work on (and possibly finish) candy compositions with oil pastels, complete I CAN grade sheets when finished

Wednesday:  1/2 day AM schedule for conferences

Thursday:  Finish Candy Compositions with oil pastels, complete I CAN grade sheets when finished.  Powerpoint about Day of the Dead Sugar Skulls.  Demo how to draw skulls, students follow along.

Friday:  Students will add details to their skulls.

Friday:  Begin coloring compositions with oil pastels
