 Objective:  Students will create a painting using specific color schemes.

Agenda:

Monday: Warm up: review homework, students will  be introduced to the 9 square painting, students will draw their design on a small square and begin tracing their square into each of the 9 sections on their larger square

Tuesday: Warm up, students will continue to trace their designs into their larger square, and then will outline with sharpie

Wednesday:  Warm up, students will be introduced to color theory and color schemes, students will begin painting their designs using specific color schemes

Thursday:  Warm up, students will continue to paint their designs using specific color schemes

Friday:  Warm up, finish 9 square painting, complete self-evaluation

Wednesday: Warm up, work on coloring designs with oil pastels

Thursday: Warm up, continue coloring with oil pastels

Friday: Warm up, finish coloring with oil pastels, complete self-evaluation when finished.

Tuesday: Warm up, calligraphy practice day 2-quote

Wednesday:  Warm up, work on designing letters, color with colored pencils when finished drawing (if needed), write quote in calligraphy on final project

Thursday:  Warm up, work on designing letters, color when finished drawing (if needed), write quote in calligraphy on final project

Friday:  Warm up, finish Illuminated quote project, complete self-evaluation

Wednesday: Warm up, work on painting abstract designs with watercolor paints

Thursday: Warm up, continue painting with watercolor paints

Friday: Warm up, finish painting (if needed), add details with sharpie markers, colored pencils and/or oil pastels, complete self-evaluation when finished.
